Kole Calhoun (hamstring) activated, starting for Diamondbacks Saturday
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Kole Calhoun is in the lineup Saturday in the team's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Calhoun has been on the injured list since April 27 due to a hamstring injury, but he's finally been activated and cleared to return to the field. He'll get the nod in right field, batting fifth in the order against Dodgers starter Walker Buehler. Taylor Widener was optioned back to Triple-A to make room on the active roster, and Nick Heath was designated for assignment to do the same on the 40-man.
In 51 plate appearances this season, Calhoun has a .292 batting average with an .813 OPS, 2 home runs, 6 runs and 5 RBI.
