Cam Gallagher sitting for Royals Tuesday afternoon
Kansas City Royals catcher Cam Gallagher is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's interleague road game against left-hander Brett Anderson and the Milwaukee Brewers.
Salvador Perez is catching for lefty Mike Minor and hitting third as Kansas City plays the first of a two-game set in Milwaukee. Gallagher should be available off the bench after starting at catcher last game.
numberFire’s models project Perez for 12.9 FanDuel points on Tuesday and he has a $9,000 salary on the one-game slate. Anderson's xwOBA (.379), xERA (6.44), and strikeout rate (14.1 percent) all rank in the bottom two percent among qualified starters this season.
