Josh Bell on Nationals' bench Tuesday
Washington Nationals first baseman Josh Bell is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against left-hander Trevor Rogers and the Miami Marlins.
Bell extended his hitting streak to six games on Monday but he's taking a seat for Tuesday's matchup. Ryan Zimmerman will cover first base and the cleanup spot.
numberFire’s models project Zimmerman for 12.1 FanDuel points and he has a $2,200 salary on Tuesday, making him our sixth-best point-per-dollar value among all hitters. Per our MLB Heat Map, Rogers has the third-best strikeout rate (30.0 percent) among Tuesday's listed starters. However, the Nationals have the second-best slugging percentage in the majors versus lefties this season.
