Gerardo Parra grabbing seat for Nationals Tuesday
Washington Nationals outfielder Gerardo Parra is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against left-hander Trevor Rogers and the Miami Marlins.
Parra went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI, and a pair of runs scored on Monday. It was his sixth straight appearance with a hit. Josh Harrison is covering left field in place of Parra on Tuesday while Jordy Mercer starts on third base and bats sixth.
numberFire’s models project Harrison for 8.3 FanDuel points and he has a $2,700 salary on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, Rogers has the third-best strikeout rate (30.0 percent) among Tuesday's listed starters. However, the Nationals have the second-best slugging percentage in the majors versus lefties this season.
