Pedro Severino sitting Wednesday for Baltimore
Baltimore Orioles catcher Pedro Severino is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Michael Wacha and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Severino started the last two games and is getting a routine breather in a day game after a night game. Austin Wynns will catch for Alexander Wells on Wednesday afternoon and hit ninth.
numberFire’s models project Wynns for 7.1 FanDuel points and he has a $2,000 salary on Wednesday. Wacha's xBA (.291), xSLG (.521), and xwOBA (.374) all rank in at least the bottom four percent of the majors this season, among qualified starters.
