Jordy Mercer heads to Washington's bench on Wednesday
Washington Nationals infielder Jordy Mercer is not starting in Wednesday's contest agains the Miami Marlins.
What It Means:
Mercer will receive Wednesday night off after Josh Harrison and Gerardo Parra were picked as Washington's starting third baseman and left fielder.
