Willi Castro recalled, starting Thursday for Tigers
The Detroit Tigers recalled infielder Willi Castro from Triple-A Toledo.
Castro is replacing Isaac Paredes (hip) on the active roster, less than a week after being sent down. He is playing second base and batting seventh in Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Mike Foltynewicz and the Texas Rangers.

Among the slate's listed starters, Folty is registering the third-worst strikeout rate this season (16.7 percent). His xSLG (.496) ranks in the bottom six percent of the majors on the year.
