Yuli Gurriel back in Astros' lineup Monday night
Houston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel is back in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against the Seattle Mariners.
Gurriel took a breather on Sunday afternoon following 16 consecutive starts. He is returning to first base and the third spot in the Astros' order for Monday's opener. Abraham Toro is shifting to third base in place of Robel Garcia. The Astros optioned Garcia to Triple-A Sugar Land on Monday. McCaughan made his MLB debut last week with five innings in relief against the Colorado Rockies. The right-hander didn't give up a hit but he did walk three and yielded a run.
numberFire’s models project Gurriel for 12.4 FanDuel points and he has a $2,800 salary on Monday. Across 59 Triple-A innings this season, McCaughan registered a 5.36 xFIP and allowed 1.68 home runs per nine innings.
