Astros' Chas McCormick absent from lineup Monday
Houston Astros outfielder Chas McCormick is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Darren McCaughan and the Seattle Mariners.
Myles Straw is returning to center field and hitting eighth after McCormick filled in Sunday afternoon. McCaughan made his MLB debut last week with five innings in relief against the Colorado Rockies. The right-hander didn't give up a hit but he did walk three and yield a run.
numberFire’s models project Straw for 9.3 FanDuel points and he has a $2,400 salary on Monday. Across 59 Triple-A innings this season, McCaughan registered a 5.36 xFIP and allowed 1.68 home runs per nine innings.
