Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder / first baseman Pavin Smith is not starting in Wednesday's contest against the Texas Rangers.
What It Means:
Smith will receive a breather after Daulton Varsho was shifted to center field and Bryan Holaday was named Wednesday's starting catcher.
