Brewers reportedly acquire Eduardo Escobar in trade with Diamondbacks
According to Jeff Passan, the Milwaukee Brewers have acquired infielder Eduardo Escobar in a trade with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Escobar will head to Milwaukee in exchange for prospect Cooper Hummel. Expect the veteran to see time at third and second base as Milwaukee's utility-man.
According to Baseball Savant on 286 batted balls this season, Escobar has produced a 9.8% barrel rate and a .244 expected average.
