Mets' Brandon Drury on second base Thursday
New York Mets infielder/outfielder Brandon Drury is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Drey Smyly and the Atlanta Braves.
Drury hit a pinch-hit home run for the second straight game on Wednesday and it wound up being the game-winner in the Mets' 2-1 defeat of the Braves. The 28-year-old has gone yard four times through 52 plate appearances for the Mets. Drury is replacing Jeff McNeil on second base Thursday and hitting eighth.
numberFire’s models project Drury for 9.6 FanDuel points and he has a $2,000 salary on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mets have an implied total of 4.5 runs. Smyly is registering a 20.4 strikeout percentage with an 8.7 walk percentage this season.
