Brandon Crawford (oblique) back in action Thursday for Giants
The San Francisco Giants activated shortstop Brandon Crawford from the 10-day injured list.
Crawford only missed the required minimum 10 days due to a left oblique strain. He is returning to shortstop on Thursday afternoon and hitting sixth versus left-hander David Price and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Thairo Estrada is shifting to left field in place of a resting Alex Dickerson. The Giants designated outfielder Mike Tauchman for assignment in a corresponding roster move.
numberFire’s models project Crawford for 9.2 FanDuel points and he has a $2,500 salary on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Giants have an implied total of 4.1 runs. Price is registering a 21.5 strikeout percentage with a 6.1 walk percentage this season.
