Rafael Devers (quad) out of Red Sox's lineup Thursday
Boston Red Sox infielder Rafael Devers (quadriceps) is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series finale against left-hander Hyun Jin Ryu and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Devers was already scheduled for a maintenance day on Thursday, but he wound up leaving the second leg of Wednesday's doubleheader early with a tight left quad. Devers should be back in the lineup for Friday's series opener against the Tampa Bay Rays. Bobby Dalbec is covering third base while Franchy Cordero makes a start on first and bats ninth. Jarren Duran is hitting second.
numberFire’s models project Dalbec for 8.6 FanDuel points and he has a $2,200 salary on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Red Sox have the highest implied total (5.4 runs) on Thursday's main slate.
