Phillip Evans riding Pirates' pine Tuesday
Pittsburgh Pirates infielder/outfielder Phillip Evans is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against right-hander Adrian Houser and the Milwaukee Brewers.
Evans was the Pirates' leadoff man on Monday and he went 0-for-5 and struck out twice. Hoy Park is replacing Evans at the top of the order Tuesday while Ben Gamel takes over in left field and bats cleanup. John Nogowski is batting fifth after cleaning up last game.
numberFire’s models project Gamel for 9.5 FanDuel points and he has a $2,300 salary on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Pirates have an implied total of 3.7 runs. Houser is registering a 18.2 strikeout percentage with a 10.3 walk percentage this season.
