Brandon Belt (knee) back in action for Giants Thursday

The San Francisco Giants activated first baseman Brandon Belt (knee) from the 10-day injured list on Thursday.

What It Means:

Belt missed over five weeks with a right knee injury. He is starting on first base and hitting seventh in Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Merrill Kelly and the Arizona Diamondbacks. LaMonte Wade is shifting to right field in place of an idle Thairo Estrada.

numberFire’s models project Belt for 9.9 FanDuel points and he has a $2,500 salary on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Giants have an implied total of 5.0 runs. Kelly is registering a 20.5 strikeout percentage with a 5.5 walk percentage this season.
