Tigers' Daz Cameron (foot) active, starting Thursday afternoon

Detroit Tigers outfielder Daz Cameron (foot) is back in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Jose Quintana and the Los Angeles Angels.

What It Means:

The Tigers have activated Cameron from the 10-day injured list after the 24-year-old outfielder missed several weeks with a sprained toe on his right foot. He is starting in center field on Thursday afternoon and hitting fifth while replacing an idle Renato Nunez in the starting lineup. The Tigers placed utility player Eric Haase on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to August 16, with a right abdominal strain.

numberFire’s models project Cameron for 8.4 FanDuel points and he has a $2,500 salary on Thursday slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Tigers have an implied total of 4.7 runs. Quintana is registering a 29.9 strikeout percentage and a 12.4 walk percentage this season, with a 4.80 xERA and a .333 xwOBA.
