Francisco Lindor finding seat Wednesday for Mets
New York Mets infielder Francisco Lindor is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against right-hander Johnny Cueto and the San Francisco Giants.
Lindor went 0-for-4 on Tuesday in his return from the injured list, but he didn't appear to suffer any setbacks from his oblique issue. Javier Baez is covering shortstop on Wednesday and Jeff McNeil is moving to second base and hitting third. Dominic Smith is returning to the lineup to play left field and hit sixth.
numberFire’s models project Baez for 9.8 FanDuel points and he has a $3,200 salary on Wednesday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mets have an implied total of 4.4 runs. Cueto is registering a 21.1 strikeout percentage and a 5.5 walk percentage this season, with a 4.75 xERA and a .331 xwOBA.
