Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Nick Ahmed is in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against right-hander Zach Eflin and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Ahmed was held out of Wednesday's lineup for maintenance. He is back at shortstop and hitting eighth Thursday. Josh Rojas is shifting to second base and Josh VanMeter is replacing an idle Drew Ellis on the hot corner.
