Philadelphia Phillies catcher Andrew Knapp has been placed on the COVID list and will be unavailable for Friday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Knapp has been placed on the COVID list and will be replaced in the starting lineup by J.T. Realmuto on Friday. Realmuto will catch for right-hander Aaron Nola and bat fourth versus right-hander Taylor Widener and the Diamondbacks.
Realmuto is batting 0.260 with 14 homers, 51 runs, 56 RBI, and 8 stolen bases in 417 plate appearances this season.
