Willy Adames (quad) absent from Brewers' lineup Monday
Milwaukee Brewers infielder Willy Adames (quad) is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Johnny Cueto and the San Francisco Giants.
Adames made a couple starts at designated hitter over the weekend as the Brewers visited the Minnesota Twins, but he hasn't started in the field since exiting last Tuesday's game with a quadriceps injury. Luis Urias is making another start at shortstop on Monday as the Brewers open up a three-game set in San Francisco. Christian Yelich is batting second in place of Adames.
numberFire’s models project Urias for 8.9 FanDuel points and he has a $2,400 salary on Monday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Brewers have an implied total of 3.9 runs. Cueto is registering a 20.6 strikeout percentage and a 5.9 walk percentage this season, with a 4.75 xERA and a .331 xwOBA.
