Giants place Wilmer Flores (hamstring) on IL
The San Francisco Giants placed infielder Wilmer Flores on the 10-day injured list with a strained left hamstring.
What It Means:
Flores exited Wednesday's game early with a hamstring issue and it will reportedly cost him multiple weeks. The Giants recalled Mauricio Dubon from Triple-A Sacramento on Thursday in a corresponding roster move. Dubon is starting in center field and hitting eighth in Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Eric Lauer and the Milwaukee Brewers. Austin Slater is sliding over to right field and into the leadoff spot while Kris Bryant shifts to third base.
