Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran (illness) has been scratched from Friday's game against the Cleveland Indians.
Duran is reportedly dealing with an illness and is away from the team. Bobby Dalbec will enter the lineup at first base and bat seventh versus right-hander Cal Quantrill and the Indians.
Dalbec is batting 0.241 this season with 18 homers, 39 runs, 63 RBI, and 1 stolen base in 372 plate appearances.
