Gio Urshela sitting Wednesday for Yankees
New York Yankees infielder Gio Urshela is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against rookie right-hander Alek Manoah and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Urshela went 1-for-7 in the first two games of the series after returning from a hand injury for Monday's opener. Rougned Odor is replacing Urshela on the hot corner and hitting eighth Wednesday.
numberFire’s models project Odor for 8.8 FanDuel points and he has a $2,300 salary on Wednesday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Yankees have an implied total of 5.1 runs. Manoah is registering a 26.4 strikeout percentage and an 8.4 walk percentage this season, with a 3.63 xERA and a .292 xwOBA.
