D.J. Stewart sitting for Orioles versus Royals
Baltimore Orioles outfielder D.J. Stewart is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against left-hander Mike Minor and the Kansas City Royals.
Stewart hit his 12th home run of the season on Tuesday, but the lefty-hitter is taking a seat against the Royals' southpaw Wednesday. Cedric Mullins is shifting to designated hitter in place of Stewart while Ryan McKenna enters the lineup to play center field and hit seventh.
numberFire’s models project Mullins for 12.4 FanDuel points and he has a $3,400 salary on Wednesday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Orioles have an implied total of 4.8 runs. Minor is registering a 22.6 strikeout percentage and a 6.4 walk percentage this season, with a 4.52 xERA and a .323 xwOBA.
