Houston Astros catcher Martin Maldonado is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against right-hander Jordan Lyles and the Texas Rangers.
Maldonado was held out of the lineup for Monday's opener due to simple maintenance. He is replacing Garrett Stubbs at catcher and hitting ninth.
