Yasmani Grandal grabbing seat for White Sox against Angels
Chicago White Sox catcher Yasmani Grandal is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Alex Cobb and the Los Angeles Angels.
The White Sox appear to be giving Grandal a routine breather. Zack Collins is starting at catcher and hitting eighth. Eloy Jimenez is covering the cleanup role.
numberFire’s models project Collins for 8.3 FanDuel points and he has a $2,000 salary on Thursday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the White Sox have an implied total of 4.8 runs. Cobb is registering a 25.7 strikeout percentage and an 8.0 walk percentage this season, with a 3.86 xERA and a .300 xwOBA.
