Derek Hill on Tigers' bench Friday
Detroit Tigers outfielder Derek Hill is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against right-hander Luis Patino and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Hill is taking a seat after starting the previous two games following his activation from the injured list. Akil Baddoo is returning to the lineup to replace Hill in center field and bat leadoff. Robbie Grossman is moving down two spots to bat third.
numberFire’s models project Baddoo for 10.5 FanDuel points and he has a $2,900 salary on Friday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Tigers have an implied total of 3.5 runs. Patino is registering a 23.0 strikeout percentage and a 9.6 walk percentage this season, with a 4.44 xERA and a .320 xwOBA.
