Miguel Cabrera (back) on Tigers' sidelines for Tuesday matinee
Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday afternoon's game against left-hander Dallas Keuchel and the Chicago White Sox.
Cabrera was pulled from Monday's game due to back tightness and he remains idle Tuesday afternoon. Jonathan Schoop is shifting to first base while Isaac Paredes covers second. Jeimer Candelario is returning to the lineup to man the hot corner and hit cleanup.
numberFire’s models project Candelario for 13.2 FanDuel points and he has a $3,400 salary on Tuesday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Tigers have an implied total of 4.1 runs. Keuchel is registering a 13.5 strikeout percentage and a .295 xBA that both rank in the bottom 2% of the league this season.
