Tucker Barnhart on Reds' bench Wednesday afternoon
Cincinnati Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against rookie right-hander Connor Overton and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Barnhart is taking a seat for the matinee after he started the previous five games for Cincinnati. Tyler Stephenson is replacing Barnhart behind the plate and hitting seventh Wednesday afternoon.
numberFire’s models project Stephenson for 10.6 FanDuel points and he has a $2,600 salary on Wednesday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Reds have an implied total of 5.1 runs.
