Braves acquire Tyler Moore from Nationals
The Atlanta Braves acquired first baseman/outfielder Tyler Moore from the Washington Nationals for first baseman Nate Freiman.
Moore was cut from the Nationals earlier in the week and now finds himself in a situation where he's much more likely to garner both playing time and fantasy relevance. He's expected to report to minor league camp but should work his way up to a role with the big league club in relatively short order.
Moore had 200 plate appearances for a slash line of .203/.250/.364 in 2015, totaling six home runs and 27 RBI. For his career, he has a whopping 27.4 percent strikeout rate.
