Harold Ramirez held out of Indians' lineup Monday afternoon
Cleveland Indians outfielder Harold Ramirez is not in the starting lineup for Monday afternoon's series opener against right-hander Jackson Kowar and the Kansas City Royals.
Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run on Sunday. The Indians appear to be giving him a routine breather in Monday's matinee. Oscar Mercado is moving to left field and hitting sixth. Bradley Zimmer is hitting right behind Mercado and starting in right.
numberFire’s models project Zimmer for 10.5 FanDuel points and he has a $2,300 salary on Monday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Indians have an implied total of 5.3 runs. Through Kowar's first 22 innings in the bigs, the rookie is registering a 16.7 strikeout percentage and a 15.8 walk percentage, with a 7.67 xERA and a .404 xwOBA.
