Vladimir Guerrero Jr. on Blue Jays' bench Thursday
Toronto Blue Jays infielder Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Garrett Whitlock and the Boston Red Sox.
Guerrero fouled a ball off his left foot during Wednesday's game, but he remained in the contest, so it's not clear whether Thursday's absence is due to injury or scheduled rest. Gosuke Katoh is shifting to first base and Santiago Espinal is entering the lineup to play second base and bat seventh.
numberFire’s models project Espinal for 7.7 FanDuel points on Thursday, and he has a $2,900 salary.
