Jed Lowrie joining Oakland bench Wednesday afternoon
Oakland Athletics designated hitter Jed Lowrie is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Sonny Gray and the Minnesota Twins.
Lowrie is taking a seat following four straight starts. Sheldon Neuse, who missed the last three games with a groin issue, is replacing Lowrie at DH and batting second.
numberFire’s models project Neuse for 8.8 FanDuel points on Wednesday, and he has a $2,900 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Athletics have the sixth-lowest implied total (3.12) on the All Day slate.
