Brad Miller on bench Thursday for Texas
Texas Rangers infielder/outfielder Brad Miller is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against left-hander Framber Valdez and the Houston Astros.
Miller went 2-for-5 with a solo home run on Wednesday as the Rangers' designated hitter and leadoff man, but he is on the bench for Thursday's contest. Mitch Garver is replacing Miller at DH in his first game back from the injured list and Eli White is on leadoff duty.
numberFire’s models project Garver for 9.4 FanDuel points on Thursday, and he has a $2,500 salary. White ($2,100) is projected for 9.2 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rangers have the second-lowest implied total (3.32) in the majors on Thursday.
