Diamondbacks' Drew Ellis (side) out of Tuesday lineup
Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Drew Ellis (side) is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against right-hander Jonathan Heasley and the Kansas City Royals.
Ellis exited Monday's game early due to side discomfort. It remains to be seen if he will be available off the bench. Jake Hager is replacing Ellis on third base Tuesday and batting ninth. Josh Rojas remains sidelined with a hand injury.
numberFire’s models project Hager for 7.6 FanDuel points on Tuesday, and he has a $2,000 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Diamondbacks have the third-highest implied total (4.66) in the majors on Tuesday.
