Jake Burger (hand) on White Sox's sidelines Tuesday
Chicago White Sox third baseman Jake Burger (hand) is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game versus right-hander Drew Hutchison and the Detroit Tigers.
Burger left Monday's series opener against the Tigers after a pitch hit his hand, but X-rays fortunately came back negative and he can be considered day-to-day. Andrew Vaughn is at designated hitter and Yoan Moncada is on the hot corner Tuesday. Adam Engel is replacing Burger in the lineup to play right field and hit seventh.
numberFire’s models project Engel for 9.0 FanDuel points on Tuesday, and he has a $2,200 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, Hutchison has the highest walk rate this season (16.7%) out of Tuesday's listed starters.
