Starling Marte (groin) still sidelined for Mets on Monday
New York Mets outfielder Starling Marte (groin) is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against left-hander Max Fried and the Atlanta Braves.
What It Means:
Marte is out of the lineup for a second straight game after he suffered a groin injury over the weekend. X-rays came back negative, however, and he is considered day-to-day. Travis Jankowski (hand) is starting in right field and hitting eighth in his first game back from the injured list.
