Rangers' Mitch Garver (forearm) to undergo season-ending surgery
Texas Rangers catcher/designated hitter Mitch Garver will undergo season-ending surgery to repair a tendon in his forearm.
Garver reportedly underwent a procedure this morning to repair a tendon in his forearm, ending his 2022 season. The veteran finished up the Rangers' series against his former team this weekend before his operation this morning.
Garver had been having a solid first season with the Rangers, batting .207 with a .702 OPS through 215 plate appearances. He has 10 home runs, 23 runs, and 24 RBI.
