Tony Kemp taking seat for Athletics Wednesday afternoon
Oakland Athletics second baseman/left fielder Tony Kemp is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday afternoon against right-hander Spencer Strider and the Atlanta Braves.
What It Means:
The Athletics appear to be giving Kemp a breather for the day game after a night game. Jonah Bride will take over on the keystone and hit sixth while Vimael Machin moves into the leadoff spot. Cody Thomas will start in left field again.
