Astros' J.J. Matijevic joining bench Wednesday
Houston Astros first baseman J.J. Matijevic is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's series finale against left-hander Cole Ragans and the Texas Rangers.
Yordan Alvarez will shift into the designated hitter role in place of Matijevic while Trey Mancini returns to start in left field and hit seventh.
Mancini has a $2,700 salary and numberFire’s models project him for 10.5 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Astros’ implied total (4.92) is second-highest on the Main slate Wednesday.
