Max Kepler (hip) out again for Twins on Thursday
Minnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler (hip) is not in the starting lineup again for Thursday's series finale against left-hander Nestor Cortes and the New York Yankees.
Kepler is out of the lineup for a fourth straight game, but he might be able to contribute off the bench like he did in two of the past three games. Kyle Garlick will cover right field again Thursday and lead things off for the Twins.
Garlick is numberFire's top point-per-dollar value among hitters playing in the remaining games on Thursday. He has a $2,100 salary on Thursday and our models project him for 11.3 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Twins’ implied total (3.24) is No. 9 out of the 12 active teams today.
