Ian Happ held out Friday for Cubs
Chicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ is not in the starting lineup for Friday afternoon's series opener against left-hander Carlos Rodon and the San Francisco Giants.
Happ will head to the bench after he went 1-for-15 with a solo home run, a walk, and four strikeouts over the last four games. The Cubs will start Christopher Morel, Michael Hermosillo, and Seiya Suzuki across the outfield on Friday afternoon.
Morel has a $6,000 salary on FanDuel's single-game afternoon slate and he is numberFire’s second-lowest projected batter in the contest at 6.7 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Cubs’ implied total (3.47) is fourth-lowest in the majors today.
