Vinnie Pasquantino sitting for Royals Sunday
The Kansas City Royals did not list Vinnie Pasquantino in their lineup for Sunday's game against the Detroit Tigers.
Pasquantino will take the day off while Nate Eaton joins the lineup in left field and bats eighth. MJ Melendez will move back to catcher and Salvador Perez will start at designated hitter.
Pasquantino's first season in the majors has been a solid one, with the rookie batting .261 with a .786 OPS in his first 207 plate appearances. He has 8 homers, 18 runs, and 15 RBI so far this year.
