Zach McKinstry on Cubs' bench Wednesday
Chicago Cubs infielder Zach McKinstry is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's series finale versus left-hander David Peterson and the New York Mets.
McKinstry will concede shortstop and the leadoff position to Christopher Morel on Wednesday. Nico Hoerner (triceps) remains out for a third straight game.
Morel has a $2,600 salary on Wednesday and numberFire's models project him for 8.7 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Cubs’ implied total (3.23) is the second-lowest in the majors today.
