Seiya Suzuki (wrist) sidelined for Cubs' Friday matinee
Chicago Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki (wrist) is not in the starting lineup for Friday afternoon's series opener against right-hander German Marquez and the Colorado Rockies.
Suzuki was hit by a pitch on Wednesday and he will remain out for at least Friday's contest. He underwent X-rays after the game, but it remains to be seen how much time Suzuki will miss. Ian Happ will replace Suzuki in the outfield and hit second in Friday's matinee at Wrigley.
Happ has a $8,500 salary on FanDuel's single-game slate Friday afternoon and numberFire’s models project him for 12.5 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Cubs’ implied total (4.52) is No. 6 in the majors today.
