Aledmys Diaz not in Houston's Sunday lineup
The Houston Astros did not include Aledmys Diaz in their lineup for Sunday's game against the Oakland Athletics.
What It Means:
Diaz will sit out Sunday's game while Yuli Gurriel starts at first base and bats sixth against the A's. Yordan Alvarez will cover left field and Trey Mancini will start at designated hitter.
Diaz has homered in back to back games for the Astros, but will take the night off tonight. He has 12 homers, 33 runs, and 35 RBI on the season and is batting .257 across 286 plate appearances.
