Brendan Rodgers (hamstring) sidelined for Rockies on Monday
Colorado Rockies infielder Brendan Rodgers (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup for Monday night's series opener against right-hander Jakob Junis and the San Francisco Giants.
Rodgers is scheduled to undergo an MRI after he was removed from Sunday's game due to a hamstring injury, but Rockies manager Bud Black said it's not believed to be a significant problem. Ryan McMahon will cover second base on Monday while Elehuris Montero starts on third base and bats sixth.
Montero has a $2,700 salary on Monday and numberFire’s models project him for 10.4 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rockies’ implied total (5.59) is second-highest in the majors today and the over/under for the game (11.5) is 3.0 runs higher than any other game total.
