Randy Arozarena resting Tuesday for Rays
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena is not in the starting lineup on Tuesday against right-hander Cristian Javier and the Houston Astros.
Arozarena returned from an illness on Monday and went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts. Christian Bethancourt will take over as the designated hitter Tuesday while Francisco Mejia starts at catcher and bats sixth. David Peralta will take over as the Rays' cleanup man.
Peralta has a $2,500 salary on Tuesday and numberFire’s models project him for 9.8 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rays' implied total (3.20) is tied for fifth-lowest in the majors today and the over/under for the game (6.0) is the lowest on the board.
