Texas Rangers infielder/outfielder Josh Smith is not in the starting lineup on Tuesday against left-hander Patrick Sandoval and the Los Angeles Angels.
What It Means:
Bubba Thompson will move to left field while Leody Taveras replaces Smith in the lineup to play center field and hit eighth.
